My blog’s name is sort of “The Black And The Green,” which is a reference to past and present solidarity between Black Americans (and Americans of color in general) and Irish people living under British rule in Ireland (at the time the solidarity takes place). Debunking the Birthers
Occassionally I'll do something like this (it's the second time) where I'll do a brief post offering a piece of information that doesn't seem to be in wide circulation but is crucial to understanding something in the news.
You've heard of the people who believe that President Obama wasn't born in America. I recently heard that a small majority of GOP members believe this nonsense. Besides the obvious, one reason I don't believe it is that World Net Daily did a story on it during the campaign that 99% dismissed this nonsense and 110% discredited the Birthers.
WND is a right-wing source and thus this cannot be dismissed as liberal propaganda.
